Machanents House, founded in 2010, is located not far from Yerevan, in the holy capital of
Armenia, the city of Etchmiadzin. The origin of the name comes from Khoy dialect Mach-
Pach, which means kiss. The complex includes an art school, national cuisine school, theatre
studio, nine galleries and museums. Rug and carpet making, sewing, painting, pottery,
national cuisine and theatre courses are conducted here.
The place includes a restaurant offering some unique traditional meals. Machanents
guesthouse has 14 rooms, it accommodates around 36 people. The five halls,
accommodating almost 200 people, can be rented for conferences, meetings, etc.
Machanents started wine production in 2020.
