Satenie Farm

About Host
Satenie farm is a family business located in the historical Armenian town of Yervandashat, which spreads along the Turkish border on the bank of Araks River.
The town is renowned both for its vast orchards and the longest history of dried fruits ever produced in Armenia. Some were even unearthed in King Yervand’s hunting lodge during archaeological excavations.
Besides the production of 5 types of dried fruits, the company produces sugar-free lollypops, as well as chocolate coated dried fruits.
The guests can tour the beautiful vast orchard, where they can enjoy meals and a cozy atmosphere, amazing view and fresh air. They provide accommodation for up to 8 people and can organize the stay of the guests in other guest houses in Yervandashat in case they do not have enough rooms.
Those fond of fishing can enjoy it in the ponds located nearby the site.
Ancient cross-stones and archeological findings are displayed on the farm, including 3000-year-old dried plums discovered during the excavation of the Yervanduni Royal Palace.
