This is an innovative social business idea, successfully implemented in Byurakan village, Aragatsotn region.
Starting from a small dried fruit production facility on the territory of the construction dump, the family managed to expand the business, establish a large orchard and a greenhouse and become one of the most attractive touristic sites in the region. The enterprise follows the circular economy model minimizing the use of resource inputs and the formation of waste, pollution and carbon emissions.
There is an organic strawberry greenhouse, oyster mushroom production and a restaurant in Chir’s House.
Children can have fun playing with rabbits, parrots and a hedgehog.
